This is a huge and crucial deal for Samsara Inc. (IOT), as it entails the provision of a large number of its Internet of Things solutions (IoT). Furthermore, Coach operates approximately 2,400 buses in the United States and Canada, with some of the company-owned carriers dating back over 75 years.

As a result, Coach has a big fleet of vehicles, and if the present contract is successfully implemented, Samsara Inc. (IOT) may be awarded the next contract as well as attract new clients.

IOT offers a diverse range of cloud IoT solutions. The firm provides smart video systems, among other things, to transportation companies. So, in Coach buses, Samsara AI video cameras will monitor how safe the driver is driving, such as how he maintains his distance, how frequently he is distracted, whether there are speedings, and so on.

Such devices help to increase the safety of passengers and other modes of transportation. Companies are interested in such integrated solutions to decrease risks and insurance costs, as well as fuel and maintenance expenses because unsafe driving frequently results in greater fuel consumption and component wear.

Furthermore, some driving styles, such as forceful braking, induce passenger discomfort, although such circumstances are impossible to regulate.

The 52-week high price of IOT is now $31.41, which is 60.55 percent more than the stock’s current trading price. However, the current selling price of IOT is -42.09 percent lower than the 52-week low price of $8.72.
